Morrison, The Nearest Far Away Place…
If the walls of The Cow could talk, they would tell you that this very building you are sitting in was built around 1940. Bear Creek, behind the beautiful back patio of The Cow, once provided a passable route to move people and supplies into the Goldfields of the West. Currently, Bear Creek provides water for Denver, Englewood, and Morrison.
Situated in this quaint little town of Morrison are the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre and surrounding Red Rocks Park that used to be called the Garden of the Angels. Concertgoers, music lovers, farmers, artists, family’s young and old, make up much of the community of Morrison, Colorado. There is a lot of history in them hills!
In early 2014, Dave and Sherri Lind dined at the Blue Cow Eatery and fell in love with it. It is the Lind family’s honor to take over ownership of this great eatery and stay true to the heritage, history and love that it holds. Over time, The Cow hopes to evolve into an even better diner with enhancements on service, hospitality, menu additions, and dinner hours to bring in all the visitors that this great little town attracts.
Because our kitchen is uber small, and our incredibly fresh food is cooked- to -order, please allow extra time for your meal when we are busy! Thank you for choosing The Cow / An Eatery for you dining experience today. We hope to see you again soon!
